It's Sunday night, and I had to write a bit to say what a GREAT WEEKEND I had!
I rode 4 roller coasters (El Toro, Kingda Ka), 2 twice (Superman and The Great American Scream Machine). One ride was like a giant swing where we all sat in a row. That was fun but not too scary.
Saw a family of 6 deer while out hiking 20 yards away! Eric and I took his dogs Luca and Hudson out for a long run in the woods. Luckily, Eric thought he heard another dog so we put the dogs on their leashes right before we saw the deer. For some odd reason, they didn't even acknowledge the deer, otherwise they would have chased after them and scared them off.
Saw Woody Allen's new film "Vicki Christina Barcelona" and liked it a lot.
Had a power workout with Eric at his gym in Nyack! This was our first joint workout since June!! I am still sore, but in a good way.
Ate at an Asian Restaurant where you pick out your own stir fry ingrediants and watch them cook it for you, behind a small window partition, but still up close!
Had a great Sunday of a meeting, fellowship at the Den, then a walk along the Christopher Street Piers in the warm sunny afternoon!
Spent two nights up in Nyack with Eric and Mark and Luca and Hudson (Luca and Hudson are two wonderful dogs!).
Eric and I ate a delicious breakfast at a local restaurant in Nyack!
After the movie Saturday night, Eric, Mark, Ernie, Chris and I went to a place in Nyack called BARZ or BAR Z, a local watering hole where we played pool and watched I LOVE LUCY on closed caption TV. Two episodes I loved. I love so many!
AND I even got two balls into the corner pockets and won the game by getting the 8 Ball in, even though I forgot to call it. I pretended the music was too loud! :)
More details later, but suffice to say, I am very grateful for my friend Eric. And for Paul K for organizing Gay Night at Six Flags! To Eric for driving. my boss for letting me leave a little early on Friday, for Mark and Eric letting me stay in their lovely home, for God for letting us get that close to the deer, for God for not letting me fall out of any of the roller coasters, for the beautiful weather, and for Rene in giving a great qualification filled with so much useful information.
Thank you all of you!
